GYPD uplifts vulnerable youth in Central Ohio,
replacing aimlessness with empowerment through
holistic support services and cultural celebration.
We welcome all students with open arms and help them channel their strengths towards meaningful objectives. We tackle the obstacles that hinder young people by providing comprehensive support and fostering their skill sets. Our mentoring approach is grounded in the idea that empowering the next generation of our community will pave the way for a brighter future for all of us.
Through soccer, we use a structured and safe environment to build a community and teach life skills to at-risk youth. Our program aims to help vulnerable kids build self-confidence, resolve conflicts, and unlock their potential both on and off the field. Our coaches prioritize teamwork, discipline, and leadership to guide participants towards positive pathways to success.

Building teamwork and life skills in youth through basketball, soccer, and other sports. Participants gain discipline, leadership and a sense of belonging.
Assisting families hands-on with accessing housing, healthcare, education and other critical services. We eliminate barriers and facilitate stability.
Here in Columbus, 63% of our Somali youth population is under age 14. Sports provide a constructive way to engage these impressionable kids.
With your donation, we can provide equipment, maintain safe fields, and expand our sports leagues to reach more vulnerable youth.
